I only picked this read up after recognizing the cover over and over again through stores and social media. The story itself is about a man who has, for the most part, lived the same life year after year. Work, home, work, home, work, home. Then, his higher ups recognize his ability to “be unbiased” in his reports, and pick him for the job to inspect the conditions of one of their sites. There, Mr. Linus Baker is introduced to a handful of interesting, innocent souls, who unfortunately are classified as monsters by those looking in. Between Linus and his new found family, everyone is able to discover a new part of themselves, and never look back!
