9. Christmas Shopaholic

I personally love everything that has to do with holidays, so you’ve been warned that I will very well pick a Christmas book and read it in the middle of summer. Luckily, Christmas wasn’t too long ago so this review won’t be as out there as it could be. On the other hand, Sophie Kinsella was one of my favorite authors when I was a teen, and this was my first time reading one of her books in over a decade. Full disclaimer, my reading taste has certainly revolved, but Sophie Kinsella did not disappoint. This read was so light hearted, more like a conversation or peek into someone’s daily (holiday season) life! In this Kinsella Shopaholic novel, Becky is living up to her shopping self, but this time all her spending and motivations revolve around the Christmas season. We also have an update from all of our favorite Shopaholic supporting characters and in the end, we’re left wanting to continue following Becky’s life! As always, I think this is a great read (or listen) and would recommend to anyone that needs to hear how important shopping can be, and have a good laugh along the way!
