August and Evan are a match made in Victorian high society, minus the arranged marriage. While both families could definitely gain from this marriage union, neither is in dire need of the other, allowing a decision to be made purely out of love. This novel has a bunch of Bridgerton vibes, and most certainly has potential for a continuation. It’s very easy to image each character, and see how their personalities add to each chapter as the story unfolds. The ending is very fairy tale like, leaving me to say.. it’s a quick, happy, light read.
